Lucy Barnfather
Born in Hull in 1960 Lucy feels art has always been part of
her life. She grew up in Cumbria and studied Fine Art at Cumbria College of Art
and Design. Lucy finds living by the sea in Cornwall a constant source of inspiration.
"I watch the passing boats and birds, listen to the wild wind and
waves. I walk through the landscape feeling a sense of place, drawing,
thinking, writing, looking at detail and distance. Out of this comes the
painting."
